I was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in the American Midwest. I've lived and worked in four continents but now call San Francisco home.

My writing uses the fantastical to examine the impacts of colonialism on people's day-to-day lives. Other professional interests involve research in climate change and human behavior.

I hold a Bachelor’s from the University of Chicago and a Master's from Harvard University.
